Director, Business Development

IHM's goal is to become a national, collaborative organization working with and on behalf of community hospitals to improve the quality, safety and efficiency of health care. Using its unique ability to organize and analyze data from disparate hospital clinical information systems, IHM transforms data into actionable insight that enables hospitals to understand and improve all aspects of their care processes.

We are looking for a sales professional with experience in qualifying leads for software or services to C-level decision makers at acute care hospitals. This individual will work independently and as part of a small sales team. The ideal candidate will be a focused sales professional, relentless at identifying and qualifying business opportunities with senior clinical and technical decision makers. This individual aspires to be part of a team whose mission is to provide the information necessary to improve medical care.

Requirements:

  • Successful track record of business development (e.g. software, services) to C-level decision makers at acute care hospitals
  • Background in health care delivery systems; clinical or hospital experience preferred
  • Strong telephone and written communication skills
  • Familiarity with Miller-Heiman or similar strategic selling methods a plus
  • Ability to work independently and with teams
  • Ability to build long-distance business relationships

We offer base salary commensurate with experience, an attractive commission rate and generous benefits package.
