Business Project Manager and Clinical Data Analyst

IHM's goal is to become a national, collaborative organization working with and on behalf of community hospitals to improve the quality, safety and efficiency of health care. Using its unique ability to organize and analyze data from disparate hospital clinical information systems, IHM transforms data into actionable insight that enables hospitals to understand and improve all aspects of their care processes.

This individual will work directly with the Chief Clinical Information Officer and Product Manager and interact with members of the Customer Development and Engineering, Quality and Operations Team to develop and document detailed business specifications for product creation and enhancement.

Requirements:

In-depth knowledge and understanding of medical terminology
Minimum of two years experience in a hospital setting
Familiarity with medical records and management of patient data
Success in working independently and with a team
Experience managing a project from beginning to completion Detail and goal oriented
Strong reading comprehension and abilty to distill written material into component parts
Understanding of quality measurement in healthcare
Competence with Microsoft Office
Sense of humor and willingness to contribute to a mission driven organization
Knowledge of billing codes a plus
Knowledge of Core Measures, CMS and TJC a real advantage
