Grants Administrator

We are looking for an experienced, outside-the-box individual who wants to become part of a team whose mission is simply to provide the information necessary to improve medical care.
This individual will be responsible for managing the entire grant funding process for this organization.
Responsibilities:
- Negotiate, administer and renegotiate contracts as appropriate to the specific grant
- Research and interpret relevant regulations, guidelines, and standards, and oversees the entire processing of grants
- Disseminate, interpret and assure compliance with policies and procedures pertaining to designated grants, contracts, and other sponsored programs
- Lead grant writing/revision efforts for competitive government, foundation and corporate grants
- Manage board reports
- Oversee fiscal operations of all grants
- Perform budget analysis and reviews
- Oversee timely submission of grant progress reports
- Build and maintain relationships with external funders
- Interact with Customers, Research Affiliates, Management and Clinical Team
Desired skills:
- Strong knowledge of healthcare delivery system
- Familiar with managing the entire grant funding process
- Strong leadership qualities (negotiation, collaboration and facilitation, team building/mentoring, written and verbal communications)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to multi-task and manage several projects at one time
- Strong work ethic alongside a strong sense of humor
Preferred:
- Experience working in a healthcare setting
- Experience with data systems
