Grants Administrator

We are looking for an experienced, outside-the-box individual who wants to become part of a team whose mission is simply to provide the information necessary to improve medical care.

This individual will be responsible for managing the entire grant funding process for this organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Negotiate, administer and renegotiate contracts as appropriate to the specific grant
  • Research and interpret relevant regulations, guidelines, and standards, and oversees the entire processing of grants
  • Disseminate, interpret and assure compliance with policies and procedures pertaining to designated grants, contracts, and other sponsored programs
  • Lead grant writing/revision efforts for competitive government, foundation and corporate grants
  • Manage board reports
  • Oversee fiscal operations of all grants
  • Perform budget analysis and reviews
  • Oversee timely submission of grant progress reports
  • Build and maintain relationships with external funders
  • Interact with Customers, Research Affiliates, Management and Clinical Team

Desired skills:

  • Strong knowledge of healthcare delivery system
  • Familiar with managing the entire grant funding process
  • Strong leadership qualities (negotiation, collaboration and facilitation, team building/mentoring, written and verbal communications)
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to multi-task and manage several projects at one time
  • Strong work ethic alongside a strong sense of humor

Preferred:

  • Experience working in a healthcare setting
  • Experience with data systems
