What We Do With Researchers
IHM works with researchers to develop innovative ways to analyze, understand and improve patient care. IHM works with researchers to determine best practices, illuminate disparities, identify waste, decrease likelihood of medical errors, and increase application of information technologies. And by working among its network of member hospitals, IHM offers unprecedented ability to disseminate the results of this research and follow up on its effects in the field.
MGH Institute of Health Professions and Boston University School of Public Health have contractual Research Affiliations with IHM. IHM Scientific and Ethics Advisory Boards are comprised of Harvard School of Public Health faculty, including Dr. Heather Palmer and Dr. Arnold Chan.
