insightsDB is IHM’s repository of Electronic Health Record (EHR) data collected from a collaborative of 75 community hospitals in more than 30 states. This unique hospital population enables detailed assessment of care outside of the usual academic centers and large healthcare networks. The repository includes inpatient and outpatient encounters for approximately 5 million unique patients with over 14 million encounters. Patients can be tracked from admission through discharge during an encounter and longitudinally over multiple encounters.
Available as a subscription to authorized entities, insightsDB offers far more than claims and Rx data, including such critical clinical details such as vital signs, lab results, drugs given, and when they were given, and patient locations throughout the encounter.
